Concatenated Messages

Although the system supports the use of the message_payload TLV to submit a message body as well as setting the short_message field in the submit_sm PDU, the system does not support the use of the message_payload TLV to send a single long message. Instead, each individual ‘part’ of a concatenated message set should be sent as an individual SUBMIT_SM, with either the contents of the UDH set correctly within the message body, or by setting the SAR TLVs: SAR_MSG_REF_NUM, SAR_TOTAL_SEGMENTS and SAR_SEGMENT_SEQNUM
