Advanced Options

Some additional functionality is available via some additional custom TLVs when sending a SUBMIT_SM. These facilities are not available by default and must be enabled on your account specifically in consultation with your account manager.

TLV	Function
0x1401	Force network code. This TLV should contain a string representation of the MCC/MNC value associated with the destination subscriber. This would be used in cases where you have already undertaken an MNP lookup to correctly identify the home network of the subscriber and wish to save on the additional overhead and expense of having the service perform an MNP lookup on your behalf.
0x1402	Client reference. This can contain a string of up to 50 characters. The value will be reflected back in the same TLV in any DELIVER_SM that is sent back with a delivery receipt for this message.
0x1403	Do not perform re-routing. Under some conditions, a carrier can indicate to the platform that a subscriber is no longer on their network and that we should attempt to deliver to a different network. Setting this TLV to the string value "1” will disable this mechanism.
